Sleep & Behavioral Medicine
Sleep and behavioral medicine uses research-based tools and techniques to help clients improve their behavioral routines, optimize a healthy lifestyle, and enhance overall wellness. This treatment incorporates an understanding of the relationship between the brain, mood, sleep, and daily performance—to assist clients in adjusting to specific medical conditions, or to more generally improve mood, reduce anxiety, and enhance daily functioning. Specific treatment modalities provided by our team include Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for behavioral management in youth, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), CBT for chronic pain, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for health and wellness.
At The Integrated Clinic, Dr. Lauren Couch and Chelsea Simon provide such services to youth and families, and Dr. Marc Heiser provides services to those across the lifespan.
