Educational Psychologist
Chelsea Simon is a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP), Associate Marriage and Family therapist (AMFT), and practicing nationally certified school psychologist in the Bay Area.
She provides comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, skills-focused counseling, parent and teacher consultation, and care-coordination implementing evidence-based practices.
Chelsea has experience working with students of all ages who are experiencing learning/academic challenges, attention/executive dysfunction, and/or social-emotional symptoms due to learning disabilities, anxiety, depression, autism, and/or ADD/ADHD. In psychoeducational evaluations, Chelsea utilizes a whole-child approach in order to seek better understanding of the student’s unique strengths and needs with regards to their learning profile and social-emotional development. In individualized counseling sessions, Chelsea uses a student-focused and strengths-based framework to provide a secure space for students to learn and develop strategies to support their learning and social-emotional growth. Her goal is to utilize student strengths and interests to navigate presenting challenges and give students the tools they need to become confident learners and self-advocates.
Chelsea received her BA in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her MS in Clinical Child Psychology/Educational Psychology from California State University, East Bay. She specializes in working with youth, school-based teams, and parents.
At The Integrated Clinic, Chelsea provides psychoeducational assessment, care-coordination, and treatment.
