Educational specialist
Olivia Greene is an Educational Specialist and a credentialed teacher who has experience working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade in public and charter schools. Olivia has supported a wide range of students including those with learning differences, ADHD/ADD, autism, brain injuries, and anxiety. Olivia is passionate about working with neurodiverse learners and started her career as a one-on-one aide. She then became camp supervisor for a summer camp specifically for neurodiverse kids where she collaborated with neuropsychologists to create academic and social-emotional goals for each camper and planned and facilitated camp activities. She finally attended UCLA’s Teacher Education Program, where she earned her teaching credential and Masters in Education. She has taught English, Math, and History to both general and special education classes.
Currently, Olivia is employing her skills and passion at UCLA’s Lab School as a Demonstration Teacher. She works with elementary neurodiverse students in large and small group settings to practice the skills learned in their general education classroom with guided support.
Olivia believes that relationship building and individualized instruction catered to student needs and interests is the key to helping students succeed. Olivia is trained in Reader’s/Writer’s Workshop and Cognitively Guided Instruction (CGI) Math and plans lessons using Universal Backwards Design. Olivia is intentional about incorporating joy and humor into her interactions with students to create a welcoming and supportive environment. She believes that all students are capable of achieving their goals and is honored to be apart of your child’s educational journey!
In her free time, Olivia is an avid reader and hopes to write a children’s book one day. You can find her in a bookstore or reading at a coffee shop!
At The Integrated Clinic, Olivia provides educational, socioemotional, and behavioral therapy services.
