Developmental psychologist
Dr. Matthew Ruderman is a licensed psychologist with expertise in developmental assessment and care coordination. He has extensive experience providing evaluation and treatment to youth of all ages and backgrounds, from infants to adolescents and young adults. Dr. Ruderman also brings expertise in school consultation and case management to his practice. Areas of specialization include early childhood disorders, developmental trauma, social-emotional functioning comprising anxiety and mood, neurodevelopment differences such as ADHD and autism, learning disabilities, and general cognitive functioning.
Dr. Ruderman earned his Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology from University of California, Santa Barbara, with an emphasis in School Psychology. He completed his doctoral internship at Providence Saint John’s Hospital and his postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA TIES for Families. Dr. Ruderman continues to serve as Research and Program Development Manager at a UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. He is also a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholar alumnus who collaborates with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians to develop novel preschool consultation models that tackle complex health disparities in the community.
At The Integrated Clinic, Dr. Ruderman provides developmental assessment, care coordination, and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, families, and young adults.
