Educational Therapist
Courtney Brenner is a credentialed teacher and educational therapist with a focus on teaching the whole child. Courtney works with students who have a wide range of educational profiles and developmental differences. She is especially passionate about encouraging children to unlock their learning potential. By building strong relationships with students and appreciating the educational environment, Courtney delivers individualized instruction fit to the school setting catered to children’s interests, needs, and strengths.
Courtney has extensive experience working with students to improve executive functioning, study skills, writing, reading, and math. Courtney developed her teaching expertise and style over the past decade working as a classroom teacher and learning specialist; she has worked with elementary, middle, and high school students in both classroom and private settings. These experiences across learning environments enable Courtney to value collaboration and utilize it effectively. She is dedicated to delivering instruction and leveraging strategies that help students feel successful, motivated, and capable.
Courtney earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Culture from Indiana University, Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from the Hebrew Union College, and professional certificate in Educational Thearpy from UC Riverside. Additionally, Courtney works as a Clinical Educator for Hebrew Union College’s DeLeT (Day School Leadership Through Teaching) program providing guidance and feedback for student-teachers.
Beyond the classroom, Courtney has trained young athletes as a volleyball and basketball coach. She enjoys bringing the coaching mentality to her work with students, helping them set goals and try out new strategies to meet their aims. Courtney is thrilled to harness her educational experience as she begins the certification process to become a licensed educational therapist.
At The Integrated Clinic, Courtney provides educational therapy to children and adolescents.
