Educational therapist

Rachel Lodin is an experienced Educational Therapist with a passion for helping students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from UCLA and a Masters Degree in Educational Therapy from CSUN. Rachel began her career as a classroom teacher, where she gained firsthand experience in addressing diverse learning styles and needs. This experience inspired her to transition into one-on-one work, where she could focus more deeply on supporting individual students.

Rachel sees students from prekindergarten to high school and finds immense joy in connecting with them and learning about their unique strengths and challenges. She believes every child has the ability to succeed when provided with the right tools and strategies. By building trust and fostering a supportive environment, Rachel works collaboratively with her students to understand their needs and target areas for growth. Her approach is rooted in personalized care, ensuring each child feels seen, valued, and empowered to tackle academic hurdles.

Interventions Rachel employs include the Orton-Gillingham Approach, Lindamood Bell, Singapore Math, Handwriting without Tears, and the SMARTS Executive Functioning curriculum. Through her work as an Educational Therapist, she is committed to creating tailored interventions that promote confidence and independence. Whether it’s addressing executive functioning, reading comprehension, or organizational skills, she takes pride in finding creative and effective solutions. Rachel’s ultimate goal is to help students not only excel academically but also develop a lifelong love for learning.

At The Integrated Clinic, Rachel provides educational therapy.
