Julie Shvarts, MS, CCC-SLP

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Julie is an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist licensed through the California’s Speech-Pathology and Audiology Board. Her expertise includes evaluating and treating speech fluency, expressive and receptive language, and pragmatic social language.

Over the years, Julie has worked in several Los Angeles based schools and in private practice serving children, adolescents, and adults. In these capacities she trains and supervises clinicians, implements speech-language programs, and delivers services to clients. Julie is passionate about creating a meaningful partnership with her clients. She is committed to learning and understanding the client’s and family’s goals for therapy and using this knowledge to develop a comprehensive plan of care. To foster generalization across environments, Julie collaborates with involved team members to provide strategies and insights regarding therapeutic progress.

Julie received her Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Emerson College. She completed her bachelor's degree at the University of California, San Diego studying psychology and cognitive science. Julie is a PROMPT trained and PEERS certified clinician. A life-long learner, Julie stays up-to-date on the latest evidenced-based practices and is eager to apply her knowledge of mindfulness, neurology, and social thinking in her sessions.

At The Integrated Clinic, Julie provides speech and language assessment and intervention to children and adolescents.
